Food
Most churches supply food to last 3-7 days. Call
Care To Share at 503-591-9025 Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon & 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm (unless noted otherwise on the recording).
Our primary service is intake telephone requests for emergency food and refer the caller to a nearby church for pick-up or delivery. Churches use their volunteers to assist in deliveries and distribution of the food at their locations.
After hours food is available at the Hillsboro Family Shelter, 210 SE 12th Ave. It is open Monday through Friday (5:30 pm to 9:00 pm), Saturday and Sunday hours are (9:00 am to 9:00 pm). The shelter is located next to the MAX line. For a family style meal, Faith Café is open on Sundays at 6:00 pm. It is located in Beaverton, First United Methodist Church at 12555 SW Fourth Street, Beaverton.

Utilities:
Qualified clients may request help if they are facing a shut-off and funds are available.

Rent:
(One time assist) On one day a month (call for the date) qualified clients may call to request rent assistance for the following month (St. Cecilia and St. Pius areas only).

Garbage:
(When funds are available) assistance is provided through the local garbage company.
Each August, Care To Share provides school supplies for at risk elementary students living in the Beaverton School District. These supplies are given to the schools for distribution.

Tualatin Valley Water District
Heat:
(When funds are available) Care To Share contracts with Oregon Heat to provide assistance to clients who are shut-off or facing shut-off of their heat source.
Water:
Care To Share administers water assistance to clients in danger of being shut-off or are already shut off. Funding provided by City of Beaverton, Tualatin Valley Water District, and Clean Water Service Employees.
We don’t provide: cash, bus tickets, transportation costs, motel room rent or medical costs.
